Zhijie Liao

I am interested in factors, with a particular focus on genetics, contributing to shape the brain structure and function, and the link to psychiatric disorders. My research projects have investigated brain maturation during adolescence, the role of sex hormones, rare genetic variants in shaping brain structure and function, utilizing multi-model data from extensive resources, including large cohorts, publicly available GWAS studies and transcriptome.
